Job Description

Function: Software Engineering → Backend Development
Skill Focus: Python

We are seeking a Python Developer with hands-on experience. You will work closely with research engineers and linguists to build and enhance NLP systems within the speech synthesis domain. This role requires strong analytical thinking, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality software.

Responsibilities

Develop NLP systems based on project requirements.
Collaborate with international language experts to add linguistic features.
Work with large datasets for language modelling and training.
Analyse, debug, and implement required changes efficiently.
Deliver high-quality, zero-defect code using industry best practices.
Contribute to patent filing and intellectual property protection where applicable.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/Engineering from Tier 1 colleges.
1–3 years of hands-on Python development experience.
Knowledge of NLP & ML frameworks (NLTK, spaCy, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
Strong problem-solving and algorithmic skills.
Experience working with large datasets and preprocessing.
Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
Knowledge of Git/version control.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Detail-oriented, with focus on bug-free software delivery.
Experience in speech synthesis or related areas (preferred).
Knowledge of Java (bonus).
Knowledge of web servers & databases.
