Position Summary

Haynes and Boone is seeking a back-end focused Application Developer to develop, test, and support internal and external web applications. This role is primarily responsible for developing APIs written in C# .NET and managing, maintaining, and optimizing MS SQL databases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop in-house web-based applications employing C#.
  • Architect and develop MS SQL databases, including the creation of stored procedures, views, tables, and functions.
  • Administer servers including IIS and Identity Server.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot current systems and support business users with portal and public site issues.
  • Design applications that link disparate platforms and environments.
  • Develop full life-cycle documentation and translate business requirements into technical design documents.
  • Collaborate with other developers on both long- and short-term project initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least 3 years of on-the-job experience with advanced knowledge of C# and API design.
  • Technical Depth: Excellent SQL skills, including relational database design.
  • Leadership: Proven experience as the lead developer for at least 3 major projects.
  • Skills: Strong ability to model application architecture and perform business process analysis.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in an IT field is preferred.
