The GSE team builds, maintains, and operates applications enhancing Global Services productivity and resolving customer issues. Collaboration occurs across divisions to design solutions improving efficiency, speed, and ease for engineering tasks.

Build large scalable distributed systems

As a Software Engineer, design solutions and features across systems using open-source technologies with a platform approach. Collaborate with architects to create scalable, generic solutions addressing diverse challenges effectively.

As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Creating and enhancing features and functionality, from conception and design through to testing and deployment
• Partnering with engineering peers, system architects, and program managers to deliver to mission-critical data systems
• Becoming a subject matter expert by gaining deep knowledge of related open-source technologies.
• Working with our development and system QA teams to create regression tests covering changes to our software

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer science or equivalent experience.
• Work in software development using programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, with JavaScript.
• Work with front-end frameworks like ReactJS, Angular, and similar technologies.
• Have exposure to container technologies like Docker, and Kubernetes
• Have exposure or interest in working with infrastructure automation tools like Ansible and Terraform.
• Be a quick learner who loves to explore new technologies and frameworks
