The People Skills team, part of Microsoft’s EXP Foundations & People Intelligence division, is focused on building the future of AI-powered employee experiences across Microsoft 365 and Copilot. Responsibilities

Contribute to the design, development, and debugging of features in People Skills products.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in C# or Python, maintaining Microsoft’s high-quality standards.
Analyze and enhance existing services for scalability and performance improvements.
Work closely with cross-functional teams (infrastructure, DevOps, and security) to ensure seamless deployment and integration.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s in Computer Science (or related technical field) OR equivalent practical experience.
Proficiency in at least one of: C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
Experience with Git and modern development workflows.
Ability to work with and understand large, complex codebases.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s Degree OR Bachelor’s with 2+ years of technical engineering experience.
Hands-on experience with design, coding, rapid prototyping, and debugging.
Ability to work on cross-platform codebases.
Proven communication and collaboration skills in cross-group settings.
Track record of driving high-quality user experiences.

Key Responsibilities
