The mission of Unified Intelligence Platform (UIP) is to enable Salesforce teams to deeply understand and optimize their services and operations through data. Built on advanced data lake engines like Spark and Trino, UIP incorporates tools such as Airflow, DBT, Jupyter Notebooks, Sagemaker, Iceberg, and Open Metadata. It processes and manages massive amounts of data, enabling machine learning and AI use cases across the Salesforce ecosystem.

Job Responsibilities
- Lead architecture, design, development, and support of mission-critical data and platform services.
- Drive self-service, metadata-driven pipelines and applications at petabyte scale.
- Collaborate with product management and client teams for scalable and adaptable solutions.
- Embed governance, security, and data quality into ingestion and processing frameworks.
- Promote telemetry-driven service ownership for operational excellence.
- Develop reusable data frameworks and enable tool migrations.
- Build Salesforce-integrated applications for data lifecycle management.
- Define and refine CI/CD for multi-cloud deployment.
- Oversee core tech stack components such as Airflow, Spark, Trino, Iceberg, and Kubernetes.
- Work with vendors to resolve platform-related issues and optimize multi-cloud environments (AWS, GCP).
